Each call is billed in six second increments, with an 18 second minimum. Now, reaching an answering machine will cost you as less than 2¢. Six second billing can save you 15% or more over full minute billing. This means Simplicity's 4.5¢ rate is similar to a 3.8¢ rate with full minute billing!

You may also obtain a personal or business 800/888/877/866 number to use at the same low interstate rate of 4.5¢ per minute, with no additional charge. In-state rates are the same as 1+ rates.

If you expect to spend less than $15 each month on long distance you will save money using Simplicity 5.4. Simplicity 5.4 is just 5.4¢ per minute and unlike Simplicity 4.5 there is unconditionally no service fee! Our 5.4¢ and 4.5¢ services are otherwise identical but with the 4.9¢ rate, if your total monthly bill is less than $15, there is a $2.50 service fee. There is no service fee when your bill is $15 or more.
If you choose the 5.4¢ service, there is no service fee no matter how few calls you make. If you are not sure, you can sign up for the 5.4¢ rate and if you find your monthly bills regularly exceed $15, you can switch to Simplicity 4.9 later.
