Many clients in the USA who have unlimited or prepurchased
minutes for either mobile or landline phones can access
UWT's low international rates without
toll free access. So they use their "effectively free minutes" from
their local provider to reach Florida (UWT's headquarters) and only pay
UWT 1.3 cents to connect and usage for the second leg of the call -
overseas! This is a savings of about 3 cents per minute versus toll
free access.

We are please to announce a reduction in our popular
Simplicity long distance service to
4.5 cents per minute! This service will replace Simplicity 4.9.
In-state and international rates remain the same as do
the other terms, e.g. 18/6 billing increments.

The Chinese government recently instituted a policy change
which affects call termination to China. New increased rates are
affecting virtually all carriers and applies to all cities in China as
well as to all cellular calls.

The primary Network Operations Center in New York City
has a serious fire in progress: this is the most important
international hub on the East Coast of the USA. International traffic
may be affected as many countries calls normally come through that NOC.

News from Telesys: Venezuela added as
43rd location on the World800 Network.
Phone number customers call to change their callback has changed
to 1-646-486-5837. Email trigger for call back introduced. Directory
Assistance for USA and Canada now offering two numbers on each call.
USA World800 toll free access number is back in service. The alternate
number 1-877-254-0955 is now permanent (with a Spanish voice
prompt).

A new Simplicity Long Distance
service has been released at the rate of 4.9 cents per minute. However,
at the 4.9 rate there is a $2.50 service fee when monthly billing is
under $15. The Simplicity 4.9 service is identical in all other respects to the
Simplicity 5.4 service with the exception of the conditional service fee.

Effective January 14th 2002, new international rates will be
implemented for all 48 states where Simplicity
is available. That is, there will no longer be a separate international rate
plan for the U.S. West states. Existing customers will remain with their
existing international rates: this change will not affect existing customers.

Due to the significant number of unused (or little used) APNs
which have been issued, our WorldLink provider
has decided to implement the following policy: any APN which does not meet a
minimum of $5.00 worth of usage in 30 days will be terminated without notice.
If a customer wishes to keep a APN which bills less than $5.00 in 30
days, he must indicate this preference and will in this case be billed a
minimum of $5.00 for this APN.

Due to a major outage from our WorldLink local
loop provider, we are experiencing some problems with our WorldLink services.
The outage will be fixed in most major areas by tomorrow.

Effective Nov 17, 2001, the Mexico dialing plan is evolving from
an 8-digit dialing plan to a 10-digit dialing plan. The new 10-digit dialing
plan will require that all calls dialed from the United States are in the
format: 011+ country code 52 + 10 digits. Additionally, calls bound for
Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey will have a new 2-digit area code that is
dialed after the country code and before an 8-digit local number. Calls bound
for all other locations in Mexico will have a new 3-digit area code that is
dialed after the country code and before a 7-digit local number. Information
about the new area codes for all areas of Mexico is available
on the Telmex website.

A year ago it was a great idea, today it is unimaginable how we lived
without it. eFax lets you receive all of your faxes (and
voicemail messages) at your existing email address, for free. Simply sign up for the
service and you are assigned a personal fax number, which you then can share with
anybody. The addition of voice and wireless services (including worldwide numbers!)
for a small service charge are just the tip of the
eFax communications network.

TeleSys now offers a CallReturn Direct
Connect capability. When the caller triggers a call, the callback will go to
them. When they answer there will be a brief period of silence while Telesys
dial the predetermined destination number. This unique DID will only be able to
reach the Direct Connect number provided.

Because of the recent trouble in New York, some lines may have
difficulties reaching your WorldLink APN's by phone.
Technicians are currently working on resolving all outstanding issues. In case of
problems with phone access, please use the web trigger until the problem
can be corrected.

New York Disaster. All of our callback providers house their switches in New York and have been
affected, both by damage to phone line and by an unprecedented call volume to the
New York area. In most cases, it is not possible to complete calls which depend on
New York switches, including international callback. At this time, we have no
concrete information when the situation will change, but we expect it will improve
slowly each day until it is back to normal. Our thoughts and prayers are with the
victims of this terrible act.

We are please to release WorldLink, our
replacement for World Access International callback and Calling Card. WorldLink
offers improved quality and reduced rates. Billing is in 6 second increments with a
30 second minimum, charges no fees other than usage and allows customer's to
re-program their callback number (Follow-me), or program a custom voice prompt
(such as an extension or room number).

World800 "RingTo": this service allows you to
publish your 800 number in the USA and Canada. This 800 number connects your caller to
any telephone number you select worldwide without entering a card number.

TeleSys announced new rates for about 1/3
of the countries served effective June 15. While the majority of the changes were
reductions - including most European rates, some countries increased (Mexico and
Brazil among others). Many cellular rates have increased but for the first time in
quite a while, some also declined.

A new Simplicity service has been
released with unconditionally no fees for 1+ or 8XX service, at 5.4¢ per minute,
all day, every day! Most of the in-state rates have been reduced, but a few have
increased, notably Florida and Virginia went up to 9.9 cents per minute. Many of
the international rates have also been reduced. All calls (interstate,
intrastate and international) are billed in 6 second increments with an
18 second minimum.

callback service. As a pre-paid callback service, no credit card is required, but for
administrative purposes, we do accept and even encourage individual
customers to use credit cards. Debitalk's rates are very competitive, billing
is in real-time (balance prompts each time a call is placed), US Domestic (800)
access and follow-me option are also available.

Fill in a few fields on a web site and press the "Call Now" button,
within seconds your phone will ring and you'll be connected to the host (website support,
customer care, etc.). Great tool for e-commerce websites.

Added the Area Decoder: provides access to
area codes, country codes and city codes for over 200,000 cities world wide. Lookups
can be by location name (i.e., city, state or country name) or by location number
(i.e., city code, area code or country code).
